I am a full-time freelance photographer based in Hebden Bridge in the Pennine Hills of West Yorkshire. I first got into photography through a passion for the outdoors - we live in a very beautiful part of the world here and I have loved walking and photographing places like the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Scottish Highlands and The Alps for many years.

I have been a creative professional for the last 10 years and hold an BA (Hons) in Multimedia Arts. As a full-time photographer I am able to respond quickly and offer flexibility and fast turnaround times, which helps businesses stay current and competitive.

The main areas I cover are weddings, events/festivals, and commercial commissions, in particular cityscapes and landscapes. I have carried out work for a number of national and international organisations, including:

  • English Lakes Hotels, Lancashire County Council, Creative Lancashire, Cucumber, Calderdale Council, the BBC, OWB agency, Lancaster Jazz Festival, More Music, Beat-Herder Festival, ABC Communications, Safe Child Africa, Visit Lancashire, The NHS, The Quietus, One Peterson, Handmade Parade, Eden Festival, Myerscough College, Kelburn Garden Party and The University of Sheffield.

I moved to Hebden Bridge from Lancaster a few years ago. Hebden is a beautiful little town, renowned for it's creativity, individuality and beautiful surrounding countryside.

For someone working in a field like mine it's a dream - I live a few minutes walk from the gorgeous woods and waterfalls of Hardcastle Crags, but still near a bustling town with a great live music venue and countless festivals and events going on throughout the year.

It's also very well-connected - it is centrally located within the country and only 45 minutes on a train to central Leeds or Manchester. This means I am able to easily cover a wide range including some of the most populated parts of the North of England. I am also very happy to travel further afield and regularly work across the country and sometimes internationally.

I'd love to hear from you: for more information, a quote, or just an informal conversation about your ideas. Hebden is a lovely place to come and visit and has numerous nice cafes to meet up in for a coffee and a chat!
