Asnath & Spitzkoppe, Namibia

This is Asnath, of the Damara people in Namibia. She lives and works in an environment dominated by the Spitzkoppe, an amazing bald granite peak directly behind the camp she runs.

She told me that the Damara are a peaceful tribe, and when more warlike tribes would come into their region they would run away into the mountains and hide.
